1 – CREATIVE DESIGN CAREERS

• Textile designer: creates new textiles based on craft methods, technologies, etc.

2- PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

• Pattern designer: creates technical drawings and paper pattern blocks before cutting fabric and contructing garment as shown in the drawing. This is the second most important stage after idea development.

3- SALES DEPARTMENT

• Sales managers: responsible for sales and increase sales
• Fashion buyers: decide on quantity, design, import sources, import prices, ect.,
• Sales consultants: advise customers on fashion products. Some big brands even have stylists to guide customers to find suitable products
• Merchandisers: market research, cooperate with the design team to research and develop products in accordance with customer needs

4- COMMUNICATION, MARKETING AND BRANDING DEPARTMENT

• Visual merchandisers: in charge of layout and display of stores in order to maximize shopping demand.
• PR executive: build relationships with media, press and develops brand image.
• Marketing and branding: creates activities to reach customers and increase sales, create brand impressions.
• Copywriters: write slogans, captions, marketing contents.
• Event planners: manage runway shows, TV shows, contests...
• Fashion photographer: if you have fashion experiences, that will be a great strength.
• Bloggers, KOLs: use knowledge of fashion to convey information and influence people. This career path requires continuous content creation.
• Stylists: create fashion lookbooks, magazines, MVs, movies and personal fashion consultants.
• Fashion editors
• Graphic designers: design brand identity, website, animation, 3D fashion.

5 – POTENTIAL FASHION CAREERS IN THE FUTURE

• Fashion technologists: study the applications of technology in fashion. For example, 3D pattern technolody, virtual online fashion shows, etc.
• Ethical fashion designers: research and come up with sustainable solutions for fashion brands, fabric manufacturers, companies...
