K-Style & K-Culture Programme

This programme is in partnership with Chungkang College of Cultural Industries to bring the experience of the essence of Korean fashion, beauty, and culture through a dynamic mix of lectures, hands-on workshops, and guided field trips.

At the end of the course, you'll receive a certificate of participation upon program completion to enhance your portfolio and international collaboration.

Joining this programme, you will have opportunities to:

  • Gain first-hand insights into K-Style fashion and K-Beauty trends.
  • Explore K-POP idol styling and make-up techniques, including skincare philosophy, glass skin, idol makeup vs Daily Makeup
  • Participate in interactive workshops on personal styling and cultural fusion projects such as Hanbok and modern fashion, the Korean Wave (Hallyu) and its global cultural impact, and the cross-cultural styling project: Korea × Vietnam
  • Visit iconic fashion and cultural sites such as the Đongaemun Design Plaza(DDP), Seoul Fashion Week (for Feb 2026 programme) and heritage landmarks
  • Enhance global networking skills and strengthen cross-cultural adaptability
  • Industry networking: Engage with stylists, designers, and brand directors to gain real-world insights.

  • K-Style (Fashion & Styling): History of K-Style, Analysis of K-POP & K-Drama styling
  • Personal styling workshop
  • Mini lookbook creation
  • K-Makeup (Beauty Trends)
  • Philosophy of Korean skincare, Trends in glass skin and idol makeup, Practical session: Daily look vs. stage look
  • Korean Culture & Creativity
  • Fusion of Hanbok and modern fashion
  • The Korean Wave (Hallyu) and its global cultural impact
  • Cross-cultural styling project: Korea × Vietnam

Field trips:

  • Seoul Fashion Week Participation (Available during the February Seoul Fashion Week season)
  • K-Beauty Makeup Artist Studio Visit: **Explore the working environment of professional makeup artists in Korea.
  • Cultural Heritage Experience
  • Hanbok wearing at Gyeongbokgung
  • Exhibition tour at Đongaemun Design Plaza (DDP)
  • Guided visit to the Dongdaemun Fashion District

Learning Outcomes:
