Stephen Larcombe is an experienced educator at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, teaching Interior Architecture and Design, Design Luxury Brand Management, Product Design and Design Management. He also has extensive experience in creating and delivering new courses, as well as contributing to intuitional academic management at higher education level.
Prior to entering the professional higher education sector Stephen had a successful 30 year career practicing Interior architecture and design within the hotel, leisure and hospitality sectors. This career included directorship of one of the largest leisure based Interior design practice in the UK, head of design at a major nation retail Plc. and owner operator of a successful design and property development company.
His current academic research work includes investigations into drawing practice within three-dimensional design and associated attitudes towards drawing for ideation within design education systems.
